Purchase: I bought the saddle brand new from a tack shop in South Africa and paid R13,303 South African rands. About 1,000 British pounds.
Likes: The saddle is very well made and looks expensive with fancy stitching and good quality leather. It has nice big movable knee blocks.
Dislikes: Most things! The cantle is too high for a GP, the cair panels are too stiff, there is a bit too much bling on the saddle with the silver plate on the back and the cair advertised in a plastic bubble below that. I felt like I was riding the saddle, not the horse, its just too much saddle and I felt disconnected to my horse. I found the leather really slippery too. My leg slipped back when jumping and I didn't feel very secure.
Quality: The saddle is very well made and looks expensive.
Summary: I would recommend this saddle to someone who just wants to hack.
