Purchase: I traded my blackburn adjustable tree strait across for this one at our local tack shop, an amazing deal as this is a great rare saddle and i hated the other one! I'm lucky i got a good brand as I was in a hurry and forgot to check, but I liked the way it felt, so what the heck!
Likes: This saddle is they most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in! The leather is crazy soft! It still looks really nice for its age! Puts you in an awesome position for flat work and fences. Almost imposable to fall out of. Sit in the right spot on a horse. Doesn't slip much on our rolly polly fat as McDonalds Pony you can't keep anything on!
Dislikes: The stitching has been worn off in places but not surprising considering its age. The leather seams a little soft and thin in places like the seat and knee rolls.
Quality: the padding is still in great shape, i think its wool? Very very very very nice seat, narrow twist, deep, comfy, easy to set your self in the right spot. I think mine is calf skin, whatever it is as soon as you sit you stick! Amazing quality and has held up great!
Summary: I am now looking for another newer Butler Bros to replace my stubben, sadly there hard to find! :( IF YOU SEE ONE GRAB IT! You wont regret it!
