Purchase: Ebay, $550, used. 17 1/2" Wide tree.
Likes: I love this saddle. It fits every horse I've put it on. I love the knee blocks and and the twist width. It conforms to both the horse and the rider. It is a lovely balanced saddle. It is the older version of the Amerigo Pinerolo Alto Dressage Saddle which is like $3600 designed by Peter Menet.. It has high quality leather, billets and the shape of the panels is the same as on the Amerigo which is supposed to be made for the horse's comfort.
Dislikes: I love this saddle. It's too bad they don't make them anymore.
Quality: Soft leather, built for the horse's back. This is a top of the line saddle manufacturer with a great product. I know I'll have this saddle for many years to come.
Summary: If you have a chance to purchase one of these saddles and don't want to spend the money on a Amerigo I would highly suggest this saddle.
