Purchase: I bought this saddle from the Stonewall company in Murrieta, CA. Talked to Jackie, the owner, and ordered a measuring kit (price less shipping is refunded when you return it). The kit was a little time consuming to use, but I felt it really measured many important (previously overlooked) details of my hard to fit Mustang. Paid $1200 for the custom fitted saddle which arrived in about 4 weeks.

Likes: It fits my horse perfectly! I love the very close contact, flat seat and light weight of it. Jackie, who is the owner and order-taker is great!She is friendly, fully of information and low key.
Dislikes: My only problem was finding the seat uncomfortable on trail rides over 2 hours. It is narrow through the "twist" and would definitely not suit a plus sized person. I asked Stonewall for recommendations and they custom made a very luxurious sheepskin saddle pad with extra conformational foam for me. So far it has been very comfortable
Quality: It has a simple design with few embellishments, but it is very sturdy, well thought out, compact, light weight and well fitting (for the horse).
Summary: I recommend this company and this saddle highly for people who like the deep seat and security of a western saddle, but want the close contact, forward position and light weight of an English saddle.
