Purchase: I bought this rug from a online horse shop whilst on sale. As I bought it in Norway it was VERY expensive, about $270.
Likes: I loved this rug, in particular the "bib" in the front closing which is excellent in wet and cold weather. But everything about the quality and also the wool lining I love. And the outer layer is really good quality too! And the blue colour is gorgeous!
Dislikes: The rug was a so called "all fit" but it really didn't fit mine. I have a fjord mare with a large front part and a massive neck. The rug actually dug into her neck so I couldn't use it. Also the lining sort of shifted as it wasn't stitched in place, so my dream rug ended up being a massive disappointment.
Quality: The outer layer is excellent quality, the entire rug is brilliant in both fabric and workmanship but it doesn't fit wide chested, big necked horses.
Summary: I love this rug! But this fit issue has sent me straight into the Horseware Rambo wug collection instead. Not an ideal rug considering the pointy fjordhorse mane, but better than having a rug gouging into her neck!
