Purchase: I bought these boots at Tack Trunk in Lebanon, OH for about $180. I needed them for the college IHSA team I ride for. I ride almost daily and my old Ariats were too small (they lasted 5 years though!).
Likes: They fit perfectly and did not need breaking in. They did their job for lessons and looked great.
Dislikes: The quality is horrible. They cracked withing 6 months on the sides. I know I ride daily, but that is just ridiculous. Because my old Ariat paddock boots lasted for years, I thought I was making a good investment.
Quality: As said before, the leather does not hold up. I think Ariat has cut corners because of the economy and is making cheap boots. I wish I had bought a different brand, I can't believe the leather cracked in under 6 months. When I say cracked, I mean you can see my socks.
Summary: Overall, I will never buy anything Ariat again. When I bought these boots I also bought Ariat Chaps and the elastic on the side has already ripped. Invest in a brand that still believes in quality!
