Purchase: Purchased this saddle through the Texas Custom Saddlery rep. I initially went with Custom Saddlery because the rep lives in the same county I do. I have dealt with custom saddles from other companies that did not have local reps and I won't do that again. Tess brought out a whole bunch of models to try and this was my favorite. Paid around $4300.00.
Likes: Super quality leather, flexible tree, comfort for me and my horse and appearance.
Customer service excellent...my personal rep took loads of time while I tried the saddles, showed me how the tree adjustment worked and gave me valid reasons why the saddle was worth what I paid.
Custom Saddlery factory people were great - actually called and apologized for the length of time I waited (3mths) to get the saddle. Took 2 days to get my saddle when it was shipped.
Dislikes: I have to clean it every time I use it or I feel guilty!! They do give great directions on how to maintain it!
Quality: Beautiful, elegant and well constructed saddle. Superb quality leather. No marks at all from my stirrup leathers.
Summary: Worth every penny. Can't wait until my young horse is ready to strut down the center line!! Strongly recommend this line of saddles.
