Purchase: I bought this saddle used from a friend for $325. It is a 16.5" and a Medium tree.
Likes: It is very comfortable and although it is an older and used wintec you would not know it. There is hardly any wear and I get a lot of use out of my saddles. I have had this saddle for 2 years now and I am happy with how it shows little to no wear. I have taken this saddle through lakes, on overnight trail rides, to parades, you name it! I use it for occasions when I would rather not risk damaging my leather saddle.
Dislikes: I cannot think of anything I do not like about this product, maybe the fact that it is a couple years old and it does not feature an adjustable gullet system.
Quality: It is honestly a hardy saddle I love it! everything on it is in great shape. The stitching is tight, the girth straps are not cracking, and this saddle is 5 years old! You really would not know at first glance.
Summary: Wintecs are great saddle with low maintenance. They are not my favorite for the show ring, which is why I use my leather for a lot of shows and schooling, but Wintecs are easy to clean. I just take a soapy rag and its clean. There is no oiling and saddle soap and the hassle of a leather saddle.
