Purchase: I acquired it from Kathy at Hillview Farms. She measured my horse and me as well as the saddle that I was replacing. She spent a good deal of time doing it and for that part of the transaction, I was pleased. I paid $2300 for a saddle that I wanted to fit my horse and me.
Likes: There wasn't anything I liked about it after finding out that it didn't fit my horse or that I couldn't stay seated in it.
Dislikes: The fact that Kathy made adjustments to the saddle to enable me to stay seated in it, negated the warranty. Which she didn't tell me until the modifications did not work. It cost me a lot of money and time having to replace it.
Quality: I believe the quality of material was good, but that she used the wrong tree in building it.
Summary: I would not purchase anything from Hillview Farms. They do not stand behind what the build and sell. In submitting this review, I hope to stop someone else experiencing the frustration in doing business with less than honorable people, especially when all a buyer wants to do, is buy the best equipment for their equine partner.
