Purchase: I bought this saddle new on ebay for $850. It is a 16.5" saddle. My friends were all raving about how great these saddles were, and when I heard that the price would be going up I jumped at the opportunity to catch one cheap before they went up.
Likes: I liked the equisuede. It was very comfortable. It also had a nice deep seat.
Dislikes: There were many things I did not like about this saddle. I felt very forced and locked into position. I couldn't even believe how hard it made it for me to feel my horse moving. It did not fit my horse. He is an Arabian and it started out fitting but as he gained muscle it made him very sore no matter which gullet I used. I also had a medium tree Keiffer and that fits him perfectly...I could not figure it out but I draw the line when my horse is sore. I thought these easy change gullet systems were suppose to fit the horse no matter what size!
Quality: It was good quality, it just did not float my boat. It sank it!
Summary: Overall, some people love these saddle but I was very frusterated through the process of trying to ride in it and break it in, and trying to find the right size gullet.
