Purchase: I bought this tail wrap for $19.99 from State Line Tack. I have a straight load bumper pull trailer and when it is hot out I leave the back windows open and my horse's tail is raw by the time he gets out, even after a 10 minute trip! I thought this product might solve the problem. I tried Vetwrap but I feared wrapping it too tight and causing more harm than good. The Vet wrap slipped as well.
Likes: I liked the foam and how it was easy to apply.You velcro it on snug but not too tight to the tail bone. It worked perfectly so I did not loose any of my horses tail and he did not bruise or rub his tail raw. We trailered 8 hours for a large show and the tail wrap stayed on and protected his tail for the whole trip! I am glad I found a solution!
Dislikes: There wasn't a thing I didnt like about this product.
Quality: It is foam and felt with three velcro straps. It stays on very well and does not slip. I have bought Professional's Choice products before and was always happy with the quality, so they were the first name I chose.
Summary: Its great! I highly reccomend it for anybody in the same boat as I WAS.
