Likes: The leather and craftsmanship was nice, the wool padding underneath was equally nice.
Dislikes: Did NOT fit my gelding! I even ordered the fit forms to make 100% sure it would work, but that didn't help at all. There was less than 3 fingers width in the WIDEST part of the channel on the underside of the saddle, the vast majority was MUCH tighter (like 1.5 fingers width) It ended up putting pressure on his spine and hurting him.
It was really heavy too.
Quality: overall is nice, but the channel DESPERATELY needs to be redesigned!
Summary: My horse was in training at the time I purchase the saddle, by the time he was being ridden and I could test the saddle on him, I was outside of the 7 day return policy. I ate shipping BOTH ways plus took a loss on a refund because now the saddle was "used" even though I never actually rode it. Cynthia was kind enough to offer somewhat of a refund, but I was VERY disappointed that I spent a lot of money on a "custom" saddle that did NOT work. I feel like it was a total waste of my money AND time with the fit forms and the saddle.
I would NOT recommend them to anyone, unless they change the design of the channel and underneath of the saddle!
