Purchase: I was borrowing this saddle from a friend of mine because my current saddle did not fit my horse as he got more muscled, and we needed something wider. I paid $450 for it and it's in excellent condition
Likes: I love this saddle, the twist is narrow so you really sit "in" the saddle instead of on top of it, the seat is nice and big as well, making it very comfortable. The knee and thigh blocks are nice and put my leg in a good position and my leg is good for jumping as well. It's very comfortable and the leather is a nice quality. It is a little red though, and I know she worked hard with oiling it to darken it.
Dislikes: The seat is a *tad* long so if you don't sit in it correctly you feel like your seat bones are directly on the tree instead of in the seat. Other than that, it's a very comfortable saddle.
Quality: The leather is great, a little red but its soft and it cleans up really well for being an older saddle. The stitching is still tight and there are no frays.
Summary: If you can find one used and it's comfortable, buy it! It's a great saddle and as I've always been told the older saddles are better. This one is definitely quality.
