Purchase: I believe I either bought this bridle from either Dover or Stateline Tack paying around $100 for it.
Likes: It's a decently made bridle that's held up well over the year that I've been using it so far. It's not terrible to break in.
Dislikes: The leather quality really isn't what I was hoping, it stays rather stiff all the time even with constant use. Also, the color is a reddish brown that I don't find very attractive.
Quality: Like I said, the leather isn't soft. I also found that the color tends to fade and rub off after using it for a while. Another thing is that my medium built Warmblood x Thoroughbred gelding fits into a cob size when usually he is a full size.
Summary: Even though it seems to be durable, I wish I wouldn't have spent $100 on it. I'd rather of bought a Harwich from SmartPak or even a Suffolk from Dover (which costs 30% as much as the HDR) I'm not impressed, so I wouldn't recommend buying this bridle.
