Purchase: I bought this saddle new from a friend for 500$, it came with a saddle pad and headstall.
Likes: Great for trail rides and riding in all weather as you do not have to worry about it getting wet. Very light and perfect for beginners. Very comfortable and easy to clean.
Dislikes: I was told that a Wintec will never break, however, so far, the cinch billet (latigo) has broken and had to be replaced, one of the stirrups ripped in half and had to be fixed, and the conchos at the front of the saddle unscrewed and tend to fall off during use.
Quality: It seems to fit most horses I've ridden, with the exception of a few high-withered horses. I have the tan coloured saddle, it is very noticeable that it is a synthetic. Mine is 7 years old and I still get comments on how "new" it looks, so it never looses that "new" look.
Summary: Great for a beginner or weekend rider. I, personally, would never take this saddle into the show ring. I was also disappointed that in the construction, a quality leather saddle would have probably lasted better than this synthetic one.
