Purchase: I bought these boots from Dover Saddlery a year ago. They front were about $90 and the hind were $60.
Likes: As advertised, they do not hold water. They can be washed and they are dry, inside and out, 5 minutes later. They look nice on the horse, they come in a decent range of colors, the velcro closings are easy to use and well placed. As advertised, it says they don't scuff and I would agree that they don't, but bear in mind that doesn't mean they look brand new forever either.
Dislikes: The front boots have become a little loose in terms of molding/fit over time, but its not a big deal, they are still quite functional. However, the hind boots have worn out and need to be replaced only one year later(see below).
Quality: Front boots are well built. The Velcro closing on both sets of boots is sturdy and somehow, doesn't get as messy as velcro on other boots I've owned. HOWEVER - the hind boots are falling apart. They are tearing between the molding and the velcro closure. On both hind boots, not one. These could be better quality. Maybe the material they are built from needs to be thicker as naturally, when removing the boots, there would be pull in that part of the boot.
Summary: Front boots, an excellent buy. Back boots, sorry but no.
