Purchase: I bought this saddle after getting a new horse which my old saddle didn't fit. I bought on kijiji after finding the outstanding reviews online for these saddles. I payed $700 for it but it was almost brand new, they run for about $1450 brand new around here so i thought it was a good deal. Although I'm not a barrel racer I love the security of this saddle when breaking colts and riding unruly horses. It fits me and my horse well, he has TB type withers and the width of a more average QH. I love this saddle!
Likes: I like how how it fits almost all the horses I've put it on! I also love the colour on my chestnut.
Dislikes: I don't like the rawhide in the horn, it's already unraveling, or the height of the horn, sometimes my jackets will get caught on it.
Quality: I think this saddle will hold up well to use. The only thing that I think isn't high quality is the silver around the back cinch. it is very flimsy and thin.
Summary: i would recommend other people buy these saddles! I am actually considering buying a Billy Cook roping saddle because of the quality of this saddle.
