Purchase: I bought this saddle, new from Beval for around $2000 during their post-Christmas sale, after riding in my trainer's Natural.
Likes: This saddle is great. After riding in my trainer's and feeling how much of a difference this saddle made over fences, I sold my old HDR Close Contact to buy this one. The balance this saddle puts the rider in is great! I have fairly short legs but am comfortable in the regular flap (deep seat with blocks). I use it for all phases at events and love it. It oils very nicely and the leather is fantastic. It still looks great after a couple of years of decent use and abuse. My trainer's is probably around ten years old and still in fabulous condition with heavy use.
Dislikes: The color was a bit orange at first but turned to a nice oakbark color with oiling and use. It did require some break in time, however no where near as much as some saddles I have rode in.
Quality: This saddle has held up great, oils nicely, and wears well. My billets have stretched a couple inches, but other than that it looks almost new!
Summary: This is a great saddle and well worth the money. I have found it to be well worth the added security and balance.
