Jumping Saddles

For Sale on eBay

Manufacturer: Prestige
Model: Jumper R
Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: I bought this saddle at the Winning Edge tack shop in Ocala, Fl. I have ridden off and on for 25 years and had always bought what was popular without considering fit. I am now older and went to the store to try everything. I have a longer thigh and felt I needed a more forward flap. This saddle fit me perfectly. I also got an after thanksgiving day sale so walked out with the saddle for $2700.

Likes: This saddle has a slightly deeper seat that what I was used to, but after one ride there are no hot spots or sore points. This saddle is so soft that when you sit in it, it places you in a correct position. My knee and upper leg are correct and I can sink down in my heels and feel the whole horse. It has so far fit every horse I have tried it on. It looks great and I have received compliments on it from everyone.

Dislikes: So far nothing. I am a little concerned about wear on the seat after reading other reviews. I have ridden in super soft stretch jeans and the seat is still perfect.

Quality: The leather is super soft and gives you that immediately broken in feel. The knee roll is ample and very well padded for support. The stitching is perfect and there are no shortcuts in the material, all the leather is grade A. I have conditioned the saddle twice and only a small amount of dye came out.

Summary: This will be the last saddle I ever buy, its a keeper and I feel like I am more secure in the tack than ever before. There are so many brands and styles, every rider is build differently and sometimes the popular saddle is not the best. My advise is do not shortcut on quality or fit for you and the horse. This saddle is the most expensive one I have ever bought and worth every penny!
