Purchase: I purchased this fly mask for my gelding at State Line Tack for $14.99. The flies were bothering his eyes. This fly mask did not have ears.
Likes: I like that it is bordered with fleece. I had to put it on snug because him and his pasture buddies I knew would love to get their hands on it. I was glad it did not rub. It also has double velcro so that it REALLY stays on, even out in the pasture with 2 and 3 year olds.
Dislikes: I did not like the fact that the mask was easily ripped. It lasted about a week, and I guess that is alright, but I would much rather have a higher quality mask for that price.
Quality: It was constructed of fleece, which was nice so it did not rub. However, the stitching did NOT hold up as I would have liked at all. It came in many different sizes, including "Arabian" for my arabs head. It had tough velcro as well, which kept it on my horses head. Overall, the only thing I was unhappy with was the stitching.
Summary: It did do the job, and although it did not hold up the best it still did what they said it would, and that was to keep pests away from my horses face and eyes. I would probably buy more of these for back up.
