Purchase: I bought this pad in 2009 from a CSI distributor here in Wisconsin. I paid over $300 for the pad.
Likes: I like the 2 part pad system. The velcro that keeps the 2 pieces together is easily detached for cleaning.
Dislikes: I bought this pad after seeing the demo on YouTube demonstrating how the flex-plates can distribute pressure. What a joke.
I am an endurance rider. I took the pad to a 7 day ride last August. My horse had never had any saddle issues -- a week of using this pad - Huge white spots on each side of his withers.
Called the company, was told I should invest in shims to correct fit. WTH? I thought this pad was supposed to do that.
Since then, I have talked with many people who have not been happy with the pad. Please don't waste your money.
Quality: I bought one of the pads that has the wool bottom, so have not experienced the complaints about the foam breakdown that others have written about.
Summary: Waste of money.
