Purchase: I bought these at Dover Saddlery about 3 years ago, and I paid about $140.
Likes: They're quiet, powerful, and have good battery life.
Dislikes: Unfortunately, they fell on the ground a year later, and a tiny plastic nub that held the blade in place broke off. Since then, we've had to tape the blade in place, and they've declined in performance ever since. Now they don't cut at all, in spite of a good cleaning & retaping.
Quality: They're great except for this huge design flaw! If Wahl had only used metal instead of plastic, I'd still have a great set of clippers.
Summary: I wouldn't buy them again because they won't withstand a 3 foot fall onto dirt.
