Purchase: I bought this bridle complete with reins; together it was about $900.00 (Canadian)
Likes: Nice, clean looking bridle.
Dislikes: I could NOT be more disappointed in the quality of this bridle, or in the company. The headstall broke within the first month, which was partially my horses fault and I had to have one piece replaced. This took almost 2 months.
Then, after only 5 months in the middle of a dressage clinic I halfhalted at a canter and my rein SNAPPED IN HALF!! From a half halt! Completely unreasonable. This bridle was very well taken care of, and only used at shows/clinics.
When I contacted the area dealer for Devoucoux she stated that the reins were faulty and should not have broken. She was unable to help me and passed me along to the rep. The rep and the company refuse to return my phone calls or emails and thus I am stuck with a bridle that was incorrectly made, has cheap leather and which hasn't even made it though 6 months of causal use.
Quality: Absolutely terrible.
Summary: I will *NEVER* purchase Devoucoux products again. They don't care about the quality of their product and clearly do not stand behind it in any way. Do yourself a favour: check out CWD instead!
