Purchase: I went to their store to be measured by their in house staff. When I received my boots, I couldn't understand how they could be so far off. Way too big in the ankle and calf. No way they would break in properly or look good. I called them and they had me send them back. . . I get them back a few weeks later and they had not been changed at all. They had just shipped them back to me unaltered.
Likes: leather was nice quality, craftsmanship was good as well.
Dislikes: $1000+ for full custom boots that DO NOT FIT makes me very unhappy.
Quality: Construction was excellent. . .but it wasn't constructed to the proper specifications.
Summary: I can't recommend this company to anyone else. .. five years later that enormously expensive pair of boots sits in my closet, unworn, unbroken in and worthless. I live 900 miles from Dehner headquarters and cannot make another trip to go force them to alter the boots properly, they'd already been supposed to do that when I sent them back the first time. I even asked for longer spur straps, since the ones included were too short to even fit the boot. . they sent back the same spur straps. .. .not the longer ones they promised to replace them with.
