Purchase: I have been on the search for a comfy saddle that would fit me and my horse that was light weight.The weight of the saddle was very important.I have a bad back and wanted something I could lift with no problems.I talked to Staci at Allegany saddles and she made me a very pretty cascade wade that weighs only 22 lbs.It is almost as light as a cheap nylon saddle.It has small fenders that turn easy,no skirts.wool felt underneath,a small horn ,lots of strings for tying and rigged for 3 point rigging.It is my dream saddle,everything I have always wanted rolled into one.Thanks Staci.I got the ultra padded seat and lots of extras.
Likes: I love the color,it is dark brown and fades into black close to the seat.It has a black seat,black tie strings and black stirrups.It is very beautiful.It fits my horse like a glove.Staci listened to what I wanted and came through.These saddles are amazing and when I lift it I smile.Just nice.
Dislikes: Nothing,I like the wade front on it,it has a low pommel that is out of my way.It is easy to get in and out of too.
Quality: A-1.This saddle is very well made
Summary: If I had to order another saddle tomorrow I would not let anyone else but staci help me with it.I would order another one in a heart beat.Just another thought,it is very secure.It only has a 4" cantle but it has a nice pocket to sit in,makes it nice.
