Purchase: I bought this saddle used on eBay for $549 plus shipping. It looked wide enough to fit my mutton withered Arabian, so I thought I'd give it a try. I had read GOOD things about Ideal saddles and have recently looked into them. I never really knew they existed until I did research. They normally retail for over $1,200+
Likes: Beautiful, soft, good smelling English leather! Tight stitching, wide channel between panels, excellent wither clearance. Nice wide set billets for good saddle stability. Fits my guy! WOW..never thought I'd say that! lol
Dislikes: Nothing.
Quality: Quality saddle, it shows. Gorgeous leather, tight stitching, beautiful inviting smell. NOT CHEAP at all! This saddle CERTAINLY has the BROAD, WIDE horse in mind. This one is an XXX-Wide tree. Certainly WIDE I know lol. It holds true to size.
Summary: High recommended and I don't know why they're not so popular here in the states? I know they are in England, or so I've read. Go try one, you won't be disappointed!
