Purchase: I purchased the saddle from Classic Saddlery in Michigan. I needed a saddle for showing my poa and paint in hus classes as well as arena and trail riding.
Likes: I just love this saddle for several reasons. The buffalo leather is holding up very nicely and is just to die for. Very attractive saddle that stands out. I think it will hold up much longer than the double leather saddles. It is soft and grippy like the double leather saddles. The completely wool flocked panels of the platinum model allowed the saddler that I bought it from to fit it custom to my horse. Unlike the wool/foam combos. The genesis tree is the greatest feature in a saddle since sliced bread. It allows me to custom fit the tree in seconds to my horse. I love the ease of this system and I bet we will be seeing it on more saddles in the future. It just takes a second to change tree sizes with no harm to the saddle. If you are training horses you will love this system. The combination of the genesis tree and completely wool flocked panels will allow me to use this saddle on both my horses as they change throughout the years as well as any new horse I might acquire. Without the need to scurry to find a new saddle for each horse!Truly a lifetime saddle LOVE IT!!!

Quality: Very nicely made. Love the leather quality. Love the stainless steel stirrup bars.
Summary: The combination of the incredible buffalo leather, wool flocking in the platinum model and the genesis tree system make this saddle imo as good if not better than the high end saddles at twice ++ the cost.
