Manufacturer: Dover
Model: Circuit Pro
Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: Dover Saddlery, $1100.00

Likes: I like the comfort and the fit for me, it seems to put me in a good position, and is breaking in easily. The leather is pretty nice, I like the Buffalo leather on the seat. The sculpted knee rolls, and thigh blocks are comfortable too.

Dislikes: I bought the medium tree, which is probably a bit too wide for my high withered, large bodied, hard to fit TB. So I have to put a wither riser with it. It fit the best out of about 5 saddles that I tried in the $1000 price range. I don't like the colour, and it seems like it wont darken much. I've oiled it about 6 times, and it's only slightly darker. I also feel a little "led astray", but probably my own stupidity is to blame. Dover advertises it as having "French Leather", however it IS made in Argentina, I sort of assumed it was made in Europe. MY BAD.

Quality: It seems well made, the outside French leather and Buffalo seat and knee pads are nice. The inside flap, however is made of cheaper, stiffer leather I'm sure.

Summary: It's a pretty nice saddle. I probably should have waited to find something used that fit my high withered, large bodied TB better. However of the saddles in that price range it is the nicest. My coaches $2800 County definately fit her the best, but I can't spend that kind of money. I just put a wither riser with it and it fits better. I'm pretty happy with it, however I think if I held out, I could have found a used saddle in that price range of better quality.
