Purchase: Bought them online from Long Riders Gear for about $80.

Likes: I've liked the microcord model from Kerrits for its fabric, the supporting non-stretch panel in front,overall construction, and stretch. I had lower abdominal surgery years ago and the non-stretch panel really helps me there. The fabric is surprisingly tough and sheds hay and dirt easily.

Dislikes: The previous years model WERE my favorite schooling breech. That model only had one leg seam running down the outside of the leg and one seam in the center. This gave the breeches a lot of stretch and give. The new model has seams everywhere: center, center of back of leg and down the side of the leg. I think Kerrits refers to all the seams as "style lines". What they do is limit the stretch and give of their great fabric. They are also a bear to get on and off. In fact, I'll even have to go up a size if I ever buy another pair.

Quality: The construction and quality is typical Kerrits: great. I still worry about all the seams--just more to go wrong later.

Summary: I'm disappointed in the "improvements" to my favorite breech. Also, disappointed Kerrits dropped the charcoal color and replaced it with green.
