Purchase: I purchased this saddle through Schleese. I had another horse that I purchased a used Schleese saddle and had Jochen fit it. I LOVE my second saddle very much. My horses LOVE their Schleese saddles. You can tell immediately that the horses are happier.
I had excellent customer service both onsite and off. My saddle was custom since I needed a short flap and a custom knee block.
Folks I have been riding for sometime and every time a horse outgrew their saddle I would purchase one that I thought was a good fit. Well Schleese is a saddle for life because it is fully adjustable. Its nice to know that I can take the same saddle back to Schleese get an analysis and adjustments in just one visit.
Likes: I love the deep seat and how the saddle just wraps around me. The saddle is made for a woman and as soon as you sit in one you feel the difference.
I always had a problem with my knee going over the rolls. So I thought I needed larger ones or it was because I was pulling it up. But when I was fitted with my Schleese that was one issue that was resolved. WOW..
Dislikes: nothing.
Quality: Top of the line. No need to use leather treatment as all you do is wipe it off with a clean damp cloth.
Summary: Well I think I have said a lot in this review. If nothing else at least let Jochen do a saddle analysis. He is able to work with existing saddles if they fit and need adjustment like reflocking.
