Purchase: my horse,28, had just been treated for EPM. He had lost a lot of weight/muscle mass. He had very little appetite.Searching on the internet I came across this product. It said that it could help reduce the effect of EPM and give horses a healthy appetite.
I ordered it from Heartland vet. I paid $105.95 free shipping.
Likes: So far it has been FANTASTIC. My horse went from 4lbs a day with difficulty to 13lbs of senior feed and he calls for food. He has regained quite a bit of weight too. The product does exactly what it says: at first he would not eat the food ( he is super picky) with the liquid in it. On the 3rd day he would RUN to the dish! The company is great too. I called them for advice a couple of times. The product WILL increase the appetite.
Dislikes: nothing at all.
Quality: It comes in a jug, very well packaged.
Summary: It is a fantastic product, so far.I am on my 2nd jug.It could keep the symptoms of the EPM at bay too.
My horse had the regular EPM treatment beforehand.
