Purchase: My trainer bought an Equine Sun Visor/Fly Mask to protect her horse's eyes. I saw it and immediately ordered two for myself. I paid $40 at www.equinesunvisor.com
Likes: It's a fly mask with the top portion made of solid material so it creates a shade visor to protect the horse's eyes. It's perfect for a horse that lives in a pasture with no shade but great for any horse that is out in the sunshine. Even better for breeds like Appaloosas that are prone to Uveitis.
Dislikes: Nothing not to like. It does everything a regular fly mask does and more.
Quality: The top portion is a solid sun visor material; the bottom portion is a traditional fly mask. You can get it with nose guard and/or ear covers. Monogramming is free.
Summary: This is one of those products that makes you wonder why no one thought of it sooner. It's so simple it's brilliant. If you use a fly mask, then why not protect the eyes from the sun at the same time?
