Purchase: I purchased my Verago new from a fitter. I paid $3,800.00 I bought this because my older saddle had rubbed white hairs along the back on my Anglo.
Likes: This saddle is a great fit for my horse and I. The fitter measured my horse and me for custom fitting and flocked specially for my hores. I always had problems sitting the trot on my huge moving Anglo and this saddle supports me perfectly with the correct alignment and balance. For the first time I can float with my horse at a trot lengthening with ease and she has maximum movement. The white hairs have gone and we are very happy! Customer service with this company is superb!!
Dislikes: There is nothing I don't like about this saddle. You do get what you pay for. It's expensive but what you gain in return is worth it.
Quality: The construction so far seems to be great. It's been 6 months and it's held up fine. Some black rubs on the saddle pad. I'm guessing this is normal for all new black saddles.
Summary: I was worried about spending the money to purchase this at first but after using it I've decided it was totally worth it. I feel very secure and can keep up with my horses huge movement without hindering her. Fits her like a glove and can be adjusted as her muscling changes. I totally recommend this saddle and saddle company. Excellent customer service. They care.
