Purchase: I bought this from my coach brand new (not even tried on a horse) for $350. There was no way it was going to fit the horse she bought it for, and I was looking for a new bridle, so I got it!
Likes: Leather quality is wonderful. I've been using it consistently 4-6 times a week for nearly a year now and when I clean it off it looks brand new. Every piece is butter soft, supple, and flexible. I thought the wide noseband would overwhelm my pony gelding's face too much, but it actually looks quite good on him! The leather has darkened up beautifully. I ride in a Collegiate Diploma saddle and after lots of oil and use the colour is exactly the same. When I bought it, it was an orangey oakbark colour. It's now darkened to a nice rich medium/dark havana. Came with fancy stitched laced reins too, which are just as high quality as the rest of the bridle.
Dislikes: Not very much! Just nitpicky things. The fit seems a little funny; on my gelding, the cheekpieces and cavesson strap are on the smallest holes - but the noseband and throatlatch are both on the second biggest! It fits great that way though. I thought I noticed a bit of discolouring on the edges of the noseband + browband, but I think that was just my picky eye.
Quality: Quality is fantastic. Good hardware. Everything fits together well, no rust on the hardware, looks brand new after a cleaning.
Summary: All in all, an awesome bridle! Quite pricey, and a bit more money then I was looking to spend, but so far it is looking to be worth every penny. An awesome bridle for those chunkier heads, or if you just like the look. I would recommend Pessoa bridles to anyone who can afford it!
