Purchase: I acquired this unit online from KV Vet supply. I paid $32 for the pair. I bought them to offer protection for my English Pleasure horse's shoes when I turned him out and when I rode him.
Likes: I liked the construction, especially the Kevlar backing. The boot did not turn on my horses hoof and stayed where it was supposed to even with him rolling and playing. I thought his shoes were very well protected with these bell boots.
Dislikes: I bought an XL pair and they were about 1/2 inch too short to cover the whole entire back of the shoe and they didnt come any bigger but they covered most of the shoe and didnt leave any edges out for him to get his back hoof caught on.
Quality: Very good construction, Kevlar backing was nice, durable, could withstand a horse stepping on it, the material didn't rip.
Summary: I thought this was a very nice bell boot and definitly protected my horse's shoes but I wish they were a little bit longer.
