Purchase: I purchased this round skirt saddle in the Xwide draft tree and 16.5" seat from an online vendor for about $1,595.00 and free shipping for my extra wide paint QH who is butt-high and therefore needs a bit of rock to the tree and a short skirt. It took a long time to get here, but arrived nicely packaged at the end of thee 6 week time frame and had all my correct specifications (color, size, style, personalized options, etc).
Likes: 1. fits my horse well
2. tree seems sturdy and well made
3. seat is very comfortable
4. stirrup leathers easily trained/turned
5. dropped rigging holds saddle well and limits roll
Dislikes: 1. It seriously squeaks! I tried baby powder, neatsfoot oil, lederbalsm and riding the heck out of it and nothing gets rid of the horrible noise. I have never had a new saddle do this until this one!
2. Very thin leather, scratches easily and looks much less expensive than it was.
3. Stirrup leathers are uneven from right out of the box and the holes do not line up on left side and right side, meaning stirrups are never quite even.

Summary: Good trail saddle, comfortable to ride in and a good fit on the horse. I am happy with the saddle overall, however, think it is way overpriced for a plain, thin leather saddle. If my horse did not need that specific combo of width/length/tree style, I'd have gotten a nice ranch saddle with thick tooled leather, silver conchos and more substance/quality to it
