Purchase: I purchased this from a western store in NC. I was looking for a hornless saddle, so checked out their endurance saddles. I paid $1000.00 brand new size 16" seat, all leather.
Likes: It was comfortable when I sat in it at the store and not too bad when I rode with it on my horse. It was a mid-range price for an all leather saddle without a horn. I liked the felt underside too.
Dislikes: The squeaking! The stiff fenders. The inability to tuck the stirrup straps under the stirrup leather holders. I had to cut mine due to my limited 5'4" frame.
Quality: It seemed well made. But having owned other saddles I found it to be cheaply made after riding in it. I only rode in it four times before selling it and buying a saddle brand I loved. There are other saddles close to the same price that are better made. Sorry Big Horn, but you have some tough competition!
Summary: Don't compromise just because of price. In the long run, it is not worth it!
