Purchase: I bought this saddle off of eBay for $450 last fall when I began doing more dressage work. It was lightly used and in good condition. Normally this type of saddle goes for around $750, but this is also a slightly older model.
Likes: It's great that it's synthetic because I don't have to worry about it in the rain. It is so comfortable, too! It has improved my position immensely compared to my Pessoa jumping saddle (which was very hard to do dressage in!). The Easy Change Gullet is a nice touch in case my horse changes shape and needs a different tree size.
Dislikes: It's a little hard to get this saddle fully cleaned. I feel like it never turns that nice black color because not all of the dust and dirt comes out. Then again, that could be me, but it's harder to get spotless than a leather saddle. It would have been nice if the seat was a little more cushiony, but it's still a comfortable saddle.
Quality: As far as reasonably priced saddles go, this is great quality. It is sturdy and well designed with the Easy Change Gullet and Cair panels. I would opt for a synthetic saddle over a cheap leather saddle any day.
Summary: I love this saddle and for the price, you can't beat it! I have gotten compliments on it and I think it has really helped my horse and me progress in our dressage training. If you're looking for a cheap dressage saddle without having to sacrifice quality and comfort, buy the Wintec Pro Dressage!
