Purchase: I won this saddle on Ebay at auction for $200, brand new. The MSRP is $899
Likes: The fit is nice, it is a nice looking saddle, the leather is supple.
Dislikes: I paid $200 and I think I got a good deal, but I would NOT pay the full price of $899. It seems to be a saddle that will show wear and tear after a while. Some of the conchos were loose, a couple conchos off center, the fleece underside doesn't seem stitched too well, and I can peek at a Styrofoam like material between the saddle and the fleece instead of felt or wool. The fleece is not sheepskin, but that fake stuff they make teddy bears out of. A good deal for $200 as a guest and training saddle, but I would feel really robbed if I had paid full price.
Quality: Decent construction, should hold up for pleasure and trail riding occasionally. I wouldn't buy it for hard, daily riding.
Summary: I like the saddle. It's a nice saddle for what I am looking for, but it's not a $900 saddle.
