Purchase: I bought this from the Beval website for 167 dollars because I have a mare with high withers.
Likes: This is my go-to pad. While I dont always use it, I will always keep it because sometimes I just need a little extra and this pad is always trusted to do the trick. great for high withered horses or those that need extra padding.
very classic looking, I use it as a single half pad for hunter and eq classes.
relatively easy to clean, I just take a bit of melp and a damp hot cloth and rub the wool and let it dry.
Dislikes: It might be too thick for some people, and it adds a significant amount of material between you and the horse, but it depends on what youre looking for if you want to determine that a problem.
Quality: excellent quality, its an expensive pad but they last a lifetime.
Summary: If you have a thoroughbred, this pad is a requirement to have in your tack trunk. A great pad that has stood the test of time and one of my all time favorites!
