Likes: This is the most comfortable and stylish helmet I have ever tried. I can wear it all day long and it never bothers me. Hair in or out, it feels great, never too hot. For years I suffered from pressure points on my forward from other helmet brands. This one is secure yet light, and doesn't tip forward after a buck. I chose "The Hunter" model which is an all black alcantara - a suede like fabric, but they offer other models and customization options for a higher price. They have varnish which is a shiny metalic and nubuck which is a beautiful high quality suede. Nearly all components can be selected in color and finish including the harness. Removable, washable inner pads. The Antares saddle nail accent is on the temples which is unique. My new helmet is conservative yet stylish and classy. Low profile. I also like that the back does not have laces or extra pieces hanging down like the GPA Speed Air.
Dislikes: Nothing to dislike. The comfort and style is well worth the money.
Quality: Beautifully desgined with unique shaped vents on the top. Top craftsmanship, secure buckle and feels comfortable under the chin.
Summary: The shell is to big for my taste on the Charles Owens, plus I prefer not to look like every other rider out there. I have also seen the Antares helmets in the SmartPak catalog. I highly recommend trying this helmet.
