Purchase: I bought a new horse my old saddle did not fit. Started looking online for one for Tennessee Walking Horse. Found Dixieland Saddles and started corresponding with Cynthia. She sent me tree forms so I could choose the one that best fit my horse. I then chose the saddle that I wanted with the options. (there are many and Cynthia helped me choose, her suggestions were extremely helpful). With all the options, a breast collar, silver conchos, and shipping the saddle was around $1300.00. Worth every penny.
Likes: It was made for my horse so it fits him beautifully. The workmanship is amazing. It is sooo comfortable and just a beautiful saddle. I got the stirrup leathers with trooper fenders that are perfect for my bad knees. No torque at all. And my trainer said it has helped my seat and my riding position.
Dislikes: Love everything about it!
Quality: The saddle is just beautifully made. Quality leather. Color is great, color of breast collar matches nicely. The option of putting the silver conchos on it dresses it up without it being over the top.
Summary: Love, love this saddle. Would recommend it to anyone. Cynthia was a tremendous help. Very patient with all the questions, emails back and forth with pictures of tree forms, and suggestions of options.
