Purchase: I bought a 4 lb bucket of Stress Dex SB at Dover Saddlery because my horse sweats like crazy in the summer heat. It cost $10.95.

Likes: I loved how this product was sugar free and it had everything I wanted in it to replenish my horse after sweating from a hard workout. It is a pretty nice texture and doesn't have a strong smell.

Dislikes: Although I wanted this to work, my horse HATES Stress Dex SB! He won't eat his grain, which he absolutely loves, when this is in it, even when I give him half an ounce. I figured that the apple flavor would make it appealing, but I guess not! I wouldn't consider my horse a very picky eater, either, as he's had bute, MSM, Cosequin, and a couple other SmartSupplements in his grain at one time or another and ate it fine.

Quality: I was very pleased with the quality of the supplement, but it wasn't very palatable for my horse.

Summary: If your horse isn't a picky eater at all, I think this is a great choice. However, a supplement is only good if your horse will eat it, and mine would barely touch this, so I'd have to give it a thumbs down. I'll have to try some other electrolyte supplements to find something tastier for my horse.
