Purchase: I purchased my first Imus saddle used off Ebay from around $1,100.
Likes: Walking and Spotted Saddle Horses are our focus and we are constantly trail riding. I have used several different brands of gaited saddles over the years and wound up just this year 2012 purchasing an Imus. This saddle has become my favorite. Back pain is a constant issue in my life and riding the smoothest of gaited horses can aggravate my back. I can say without a doubt that the Imus saddle does what it is advertised as doing for horse and rider. The medical grade padding in the saddle has definitely kept me from developing back pain while riding. I can ride for many hours on the trail in steep hilly terrain without feeling soreness in my back. Most importantly, the horses are also comfortable with no areas of soreness. I ride all shapes and sizes of TWH - SSH and the saddle will fit all of them with the changing the width of the saddle pad. I use a wide tree on our horses and this wide width gives me the needed versatility for our different horses. The saddle is well made and I like it's style. The Imus holds its value well as is evidenced by the limited amount of used ones available. So, if a quality saddle is important to you with horse and rider comfort as your main focus then the Imus fits that bill.
Dislikes: I can not fault the Imus saddle in any way
Quality: My two personal Imus saddles are Amish made and they are top quality in every respect.
