Purchase: I bought a pair of Mondega Air Flow half chaps from the Saskatoon Greenhawk for $29.99, on sale from regular $39.99. I wanted a pair of lightweight summer half chaps.
Likes: Nothing.
Dislikes: I only wore them four times. By the third time, they were beginning to fall apart and by the fourth they were not even staying on my leg. I did not buy them too big.
When I attempted to return them due to inferior quality, I was told a) I must have been riding with a heavy leg, and b) I should not have expected them to last at that price.
Not only would they not take them back for a refund, they would not even give a store credit. Instead, they told me they could give me 20% off any other pair of half chaps. As if that were not an insulting enough offer, they were already having a 20% off sale on half chaps, and the 20% they were offering me was not in addition to the current sale, it was the same sale price they were giving everyone.
Quality: Terrible.
Summary: I intend to never buy another Mondega product or shop at Greenhawk again:
1. they do not stand behind their products
2. they do not accept returns of defective products
3. they insult their customers
If I could give these a rating of zero, I would.
