Purchase: I purchased my EquiStix massage device online at EquusAthletics.com for $74.50. A friend at my barn owns one and her horse loves it, so I bought it as an early 4th birthday gift for my horse, Bentley.

Likes: I like it because it allows me to provide regular warm-up and cool-down massage treatments quickly and easily. It's small and lightweight so I can transport it to shows and anywhere else, no problem. I also feel like it's a great way to dote and love on my horse, and I can tell he definitely enjoys it. It's also a solid way to prevent injuries, deal with existing soreness, and increase blood flow in a horse's muscles. They're athletes so it makes sense they need sports massage therapy as much as any human!

Dislikes: I wish it came in different colors, though the black looks good.

Quality: I'd say they made these to last for a long time. I've already used my EquiStix twice a day, almost every day for the past seven months and it's working and looking like new.

Summary: I think it's a great tool to keep your horse performing at it's best with good muscle health. Equine massage is important and this device helps keep your horse tuned up between professional sessions or just on your own, providing massage therapy with the EquiStix. Also, it has rubber bristles that help with grooming.
