Purchase: I bought my "Lite rider" for my TW online through Dixieland Gaited Saddles. Their prices were so reasonable at $1169.00 and of course I wanted to customize several things so I ended up paying $1300.00 which I feel was still reasonable to get all I wanted.
Likes: IT FITS my boy so nicely! Cynthia sent me the forms, and she was SO helpful and patient with me. Everytime I texted her pictures (of the forms) on him, she was responding immediately. She really worked with me to get him the best fit!
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like is, all my friends who have had a chance to sit/ride and try it out have threatened to steal it!
Quality: I'm very happy with the construction and quality. It's beautiful, comfortable, and everything I wanted. I was a bit apprehensive ordering online but I felt like they couldn't have been any more helpful if they had been standing right next to me.
Summary: Just prior to ordering my TW was showing signs of pain and discomfort which was causing him to act out. I had the vet out, he had pain on the exam, we did acupuncture which showed his pain to be on hind end where my western saddle edge rested. He was flinching alot when she would poke there. I never put it on him again.
Now that I've ridden him in this new Lite Rider for a month, I had vet check him (poking quite hard) and he never flinched anywhere! She confirmed that she believed the saddle was the perfect fit.
