Dressage Saddles

Manufacturer: Wintec
Model: Isabell Dressage w/ CAIR
Category: Dressage Saddles

Purchase: I purchased this saddle brand new about 3 years ago at a local saddle shop. I paid somewhere in the low to middle 800's at the time.

Likes: I love the equisuede seat and after riding with equisuede find it very difficult to switch back to a leather. I have a much more secure seat in this saddle. It is much easier to keep your legs in line and in position with the stirrups being a few inches further back than most saddles. After owning & riding with this saddle for over 3 years I find it very difficult to ride in any other saddle, I always want to bring it along if I ride other peoples horses. I also find it fits both my horses well and any other horses I have ever tried it on. In the past I have had problems with saddle fit on all of my horses but, not with this saddle. It is not difficult to change the gullets to fit any horse. It is so easy to clean, I washed it down with a garden hose & let it dry & it was like brand new, try doing that with a leather saddle. It has held up wonderfully with over 3 years of sometimes everyday use it looks almost new. I love this saddle & so do all my friends who own & ride with it(which is at least 5 or more others one of whom is an trainer & riding instructor.) I highly recommend this saddle to anyone especially the not so gifted riders, it will help you feel more secure and allow better body position too!!

Dislikes: There is nothing that I do not like about this saddle, it's the best!!! Well, perhaps 2 things, which is the price keeps going up & it does get dusty (what saddle doesn't?)!

Quality: Excellent construction & quality, holds up well to daily riding & can be cleaned up with a garden hose & looks brand new after over 2 years of not being cleaned!

Summary: This is the only saddle I would ever recommend or ride in again. I had a very nice leather stubben which comfort wise could not hold a candle to this saddle. I can't imagine anyone not loving this saddle.
