Purchase: I purchased my saddle from Jay's Leather in Muddy Pond, TN. I had been trail riding at a local horse camp and traded horses with a friend. She had a Buena Vista saddle by another manufacturer. I had purchased many items of quality from Jay's Leather and when I saw he had added the Buena Vista saddle to his line I quickly got one. Purchase price was $850, which included leather covered endurance stirrups, this is a western rig saddle.
Likes: Absolutely love love love it! All day riding and I still feel great at the end of the day, gone are the aches and pains I used to get in knees and bottom end. The saddle fits all of my horses and especially the round ones with no withers. I have one that all saddles rolled off and now I can ride him with a loose girth...saddle doesn't move.
Also, much lighter than all of my other western saddles.
Dislikes: I have't found a dislike.
Quality: This saddle has held up to tough treatment, bad weather, and a lot of use. The leather quality is great, it still looks new....it could use a cleaning.
Summary: I would highly recommend this saddle, and let lots of folks try mine out. Ride one, you'll see.
