Purchase: the saddle in this review is a king, old timer, made by JT international and sold by chicks. online and in the catalog, the saddle looks great. nice style and colors. cost was under $400 shipped
Likes: the model in this review was a design that allowed the stirrups to swing more independently. it also offer a high cantle and nice coloring.
Dislikes: built like chinese crap. the material is something other then leather. the saddle makes so much noise while riding it becomes annoying. parts of the saddle have fallen off. i have since read reviews of horns falling off as well.
Quality: the construction of king series saddles is not only poor, but borderline negligent. as with many "cheap" saddles that are marketed for this price bracket, the quality is so poor, someone is going to be seriously injured or killed. when you hear about stirrups and horns falling off, that says it all.
Summary: if you own a saddle made by jt international, send it back. don't resell a piece of junk that can kill someone. any dealer that sells these sorry excuses for saddles are not only putting themselves at risk of lawsuits, but putting peoples lives in danger.
